Hi! My name is Sammi and I have 12+ years of taking care of all varieties of animals. I currently own 2 dogs (1 aussie and 1 recently rescued great pyreneese) , 2 cats, 4 horses and 2 reptiles of my own. I have worked with rescues, shelters and non-profits in the past so I am skilled in caring for animals with all kinds of needs. I also work from home with a flexible schedule so I am able to accommodate special requests and special needs animals during the week for those that need more attention. I look forward to speaking with you about how I can best help you and your animals!

Sammy was super sweet, took care of my two girls for 3 evenings at my home. She was polite, engaging and took great care of my fur babies. She sent photos and kept in communication the whole time. Highly recommend! A++. I will be requesting Sammy in the future for sure.
I loved Sammie! She was so good with my cat Blue. She came twice a day and fed him, cleaned out his litter box and gave him lots of pets. She also sent several pics a day of my baby. I’d trust her completely with any pet I have and I hope to use her again one day before she’s gone. Sadly she’s moving out of my area sometime in 2026. Too bad because there’s no one else up here on this mountain that does this. Get her while she’s still here. Thank you Sammie, you rock!!

Schedule
I currently work from home with flexible hours so am available usually from 8am to 8pm each day, with flexibility where needed. I currently walk my own dogs a mile or two every other day, with them being walked on the property every 4 hours for exercise. I live on 8 acres with woods so plenty of room for dogs to run around and play.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently do not have a fenced in yard, but have multiple tether setups and/or long line leashes to walk dogs on and let them roam a bit while controlled. My 2 dogs are males who are friendly with others and love to play outside in the backyard. Since I am home during the day, all animals get lots of cuddles in my house (allowed on furniture) and constant interaction of bones, toys, tug of war, toys etc. I do have separate areas that dogs can be crated in alone if preferred. I do also have 2 cats that are dog friendly but have their own room they can be closed off in if needed.
Pets
A typical day
We go on walks around my property (8 acres) to see the horses and explore the woods. Plenty of toys, bones/chews and play time inside as well.
