As a dog mom of large breeds, safety is always my number one concern. I’m diligent about closing doors and always supervise dogs when they are in the yard. I take lots of pictures and will give you updates throughout the day. As the pet parent, I will take your lead and follow the schedule or boundaries you have in your home for your dog. For example, at my house - dogs are allowed on the couch. But your house - your rules!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to account for. My previous dog had a high prey drive and did not like cats so I am used to working through those behaviors. All dogs should be up-to-date on their flea and tick medication. Due to allergies, I would also ask that animals come from a non-smoking home.
A typical day
I love to start my day with a long walk to give my pups exercise, get their energy out, and take advantage of cooler weather. I tend to take dogs out at least every 4 hours with lots of breaks to play and get pets. I love enrichment like puzzles, lick mats, and games that keep your dog’s brain engaged. Maybe your pet loves to lounge on the couch, go for a pup cup, or play at the park. Let me know what type of enrichment is most fulfilling for your dog and I’ll be happy to provide that. It’s all about what works for your specific pet.

I’m a lifelong animal lover who would love to spoil your dog with love, care and lots of pets while you are away from home. I am an experienced pet sitter and foster with lots of love to go around! I grew up caring for a smart and sassy Beagle mix then became a German Shepherd Mom, then fostered and pet sat for years before adopting our gorgeous husky mix pup. I look forward to helping your dog feel comfortable and safe at home while you are away.

If I could give Samantha 10 stars I would! There is no way there’s a better sitter in Savannah than Samantha and her husband. I’m so glad I found them! They took such good care of my 5 yr. old rescue, Cooper, who has anxiety and is easily stressed. He was such a happy boy throughout his stay. Samantha took extra care and detail to ensure before and during his stay that he was not only cared for but truly given a fun and fantastic experience. She kept me updated throughout his stay and sent photos as well. Truly can’t recommend Samantha enough!
