Animal Lover ⭐️💕🌱
I grew up in the countryside surrounded by so many animals, from cats and dogs to goats and geese!🐶🪿 My mum is a vegan and avid animal lover, rehoming more animals than I can count and loving each one so deeply. Naturally, I have experience administering medication, caring for young and older animals, and animals from differing backgrounds. Living in Belfast, I miss home and visit often but I miss them every day. 🥲 I have taken care of neighbours’ cats in their homes and have looked after family friends’ dogs in my home. I have experience volunteering in rescue kennels and loved taking care of the dogs, taking them for walks, cleaning them, their dishes and sleeping areas. Volunteering was sometimes heartbreaking, but being a part of the rehoming process was beautiful and so rewarding. ❤️ I currently live in a small flat with an enclosed (shared) back garden, with amenities for a cat.

Samantha looked after Bonnie over our wedding weekend and we couldn’t have found a better sitter! Bonnie clearly loved spending time with her and was sad to leave. Samantha kept us updated throughout the weekend which was great and gave us peace of mind! Thanks so much for looking after Bonnie! ❤️

Bazzle settled in very quickly and Samantha gave him great care and attention in the warm weather. She kept us updated with messages and photos.
Samantha was a great sitter. Very attentive with a needy cockapoo, and provided regular updates whilst we were away. Will use again.
Samantha took excellent care of Texas and gave us daily photos / updates of how he was doing & what he'd been up to, which was very reassuring. We had no worries while we were away - he had a great time! We will definitely be leaving him with Samantha again!
Samantha was amazing glad I found her on rover. She looked after Barney really well even with his extra needs 😍 being an older dog. Highly recommended 👌 and would use Samantha again in the future 👍

Schedule
I have a flexible job so my work schedule differs each week. I also have University classes to attend a few times a week in the evenings. Availability depends on booked shifts, if you’re looking for a weekend or longer boarding, please contact me!

Safety, trust & environment
If caring for your animal in my home, with enough notice I can book shorter shifts and have more time to play with and keep them company. In the flat I have an empty litter tray (with litter if needed), a cat bed and a tiered scratching post for entertainment. I have multiple large house plants that I can move if your animal would chew them, and I have puppy pads and a wet vacuum in case of accidents!
A typical day
The outside garden is fenced and suitable for dogs and the closest park is a 5 minute walk away! My car boot is also fitted with a dog guard for safe transportation!
