I'm currently working on a zero hour contract therefore my weekly schedule is super flexible as I work from home. I have my own dog so tend to take him out twice a day alongside a morning and evening feed with lots of playing in between! Due to my flexibility I can work around your schedule to ensure your furry friends are cared for.

I am happy to come over for a home visit prior to your first booking to meet yourselves as well as your pet(s) to ensure they have a level of familiarity with me upon the first time we go on a walk or pop in for a visit. This allows you to see how comfortable your pet(s) will be in my company for peace of mind along side allowing me to gain any information from you such as feed times / amounts / walking routes your pet is most comfortable with or toys they enjoy playing with the most.

Please let me know if your pet has any behavioural or special needs and how best to cater for them. Alongside this, getting to know what their favourite toys are is a huge help in ensuring they get the best experience. Lastly, if you require any feeds or medication, the times and amounts would be necessary to know.
Ein typischer Tag
Typical day with a dog: I love to ensure your dogs are stimulated physically and mentally combining a mixture of entertaining walks and games such as sniffle mats, fetch, tug of war or however your pup likes to play. If your dog is comfortable to be in the car, I'd happily take them on more adventurous walks if approved by yourself as well. I'd also ensure their water is topped up and any feeds or medications are given. To top off the activities, we can end with a bath and lots of cuddles and fuss or just skip to the cuddles if a bath isn't necessary. I'd treat your pets as I would treat my own, with respect and love. Typical day with a cat: I would ensure they have a clean litter tray and fresh water alongside feeding them if required. If your cat enjoys playing, I'd spend time playing to ensure they are not only socialising but physically and mentally stimulated. I'd spend a lot of time giving them fuss and whatever attention they're desiring at the time as we know cats love to have their own way! Most importantly, I'd treat them with respect and lots of love.

I've always had animals growing up varying from cats and dogs to hamsters and fish so I understand the care and trust required to taking care of them. I have taken care of animals with my family from a young age including cat and dog sitting as well as daily check ins, socialising and feeds. Most recently I have been on standby for relatives pets when I'm available, usually during school holidays however decided that it's time to offer my services to the wider community. I have had experience training two of my own puppies as well as providing senior care to my relatives dog when sitting, including providing medication. Typically in term time, I am a teacher meaning my availability shortens to evenings and weekends however from June - September I work from home and can therefore be flexible to work around what's best for you and your pet. During school holidays my availability will become larger rather than being evening and weekend based.

I’ve known Sammie for many years, and in that time she has looked after my two French Bulldogs, Albert and Archie, on numerous occasions. As any dog owner knows, leaving your pets with someone else is a huge act of trust, but I’ve never had a single concern when they’ve been in Sammie’s care. She absolutely adores animals and treats them as if they were her own. Albert and Archie are always excited to see her, which says everything about the love, attention and care she gives them. Whether it’s walks, feeding, cuddles on the sofa, or simply making sure they feel safe and settled, Sammie goes above and beyond every time. She’s reliable, responsible, patient and genuinely passionate about animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets. Any pet parent can feel completely confident that their furry family member will be loved, looked after and spoiled while they’re with Sammie. I couldn’t think of anyone better suited to looking after animals.
Samantha has been great for us and a real help in supporting our busy schedules with work and time away from home. She is a dedicated animal lover and really sought to understand his schedule and how best to care for our black lab. I would highly recommend her services and if you want your dog to be in good hands, she should be first on your list.
Samantha is a valuable and reliable cat sitter for me. She takes extremely good care of my cat named George whist I am out on business and on my annual leave. I would highly recommend Samantha for pet sitting.
