My approach to cat care is rooted in patience, respect, and understanding the individual needs of each cat. I specialize in caring for cats only, which allows me to fully focus on their unique personalities and routines. I’m experienced with: • Shy, nervous, or slow-to-warm-up cats • Cats who need medication (including pills, liquids, and injections) • Senior cats, lethargic cats, and cats with chronic conditions • Kittens who need extra supervision and stimulation • Cats who walk on a harness or enjoy enclosed outdoor time • Multi-cat households • Monitoring subtle behavioral or appetite changes • Litter box maintenance (cleaning, sweeping surrounding area, restocking supplies) • Daily water refresh or cleaning non-electric bowls I take time to build trust gently, allowing timid cats to approach at their own pace. For social cats, I provide affection, play, brushing, or lap time; whatever they’re most comfortable with. For high-energy cats, we’ll engage in active play that fits their personality. Every visit includes attention to cleanliness and routine: scooping litter, cleaning around the area, washing bowls when needed, and making sure their space feels fresh and safe. I also send thoughtful updates and photos so you can feel connected to your cat while you’re away.

When caring for cats in their home, safety and consistency are always my priority. I take time to let each cat get comfortable with me, especially those who are shy or cautious around new people. I approach slowly, use calm body language, and create a quiet, stress-free environment. Before leaving each visit, I always: • Check that doors and windows are secure • Confirm your cat’s location and hiding spots • Make sure no one is near the door as I exit (no accidental slipping out!) • Refresh water if needed • Scoop and tidy the litter area • Clean any accidents or messes I’m also happy to help with small home-care tasks, such as bringing in mail, watering a few plants, and keeping the home tidy while you’re away. Your cat’s routine and safety will always remain intact, and I treat every home with the same respect and care I would want for my own.
