From a young age I have worked at an animal sanctuary which rescued and re-homed a variety of abandoned animals from rabbits, guinea pigs, cats dogs and even farm animals ☺️ I wish I could have continued to do this into my adult years. Over the years I have had pets of my own and regularly look after my daughter dog and even take her away on short breaks with us. I enjoy long walks and always find myself jealous when people walk by with their pets as I walk alone. My mum is an Area Manager for Guide Dogs, before that she started her own dog training business which she ran evening classes which I would attend with her, so I have training experience.

I have known Samantha for over 8 years and always found her to be trustworthy and reliable. She’s great with kids and animals . She has a very caring nature and would and have trusted her with both the care of my children and pets. I have found her very diligent and organised with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. I would happily recommend her without hesitation.
My mum regularly looks after my dog Tilly who is a very timid but loving dog. She is also very wary of men which can be a problem with her being a very cute Lhasa Apso everyone approaches her to stroke her, she feels threatened my men and barks due to fear. She has taken very well to my mums partner Ryan and goes to their house regularly for sleepovers and weekends away with them.

Schedule
I currently work part time at home. I like to go for at least 2 walks a day which would be much more enjoyable with a dog to accompany me. There are no children at our home through the week, my partners daughter is here at the weekends she is 8 and also adores dogs, she practically begged me to sign up to Rover ☺️ We have a large fenced back garden which overlooks a local park with plenty of land for walking pets on short walks. We are also 1 minute walk away from farmers fields which is perfect for longer walks If you prefer for me to come and sit at your property with your pet this can also be arranged. I am also available to have your pet stay over on a weekend provided they are friendly and safe to be around children, we have children here alternative weekends, so if you have booked a weekend away or last minute been asked to work away and it falls on the weekend the child is not here if your dog is a little nervous around children then we would be more that happy to accommodate your pet ☺️

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets as if they are my own. Pets will always be kept on a lead whilst out on a walk with me even after the trust has been built to ensure safety at all times. Please make me aware at the time of booking if your dog is not good with other dogs, children or any other areas of concern so that I can make sure you pet always feels safe and happy in my care. I have worked as housekeeper and nanny previously, for a home with 2 dogs. I had a key to the property, looked after their 4 children and 2 dogs. I am honest and trustworthy so if you are planning for me to come to your home when you are at work to let your pet out or take them for a walk I am more than happy to do so. If you would prefer for your pet to come to my home for the day so they can be fussed and walked and have some company while your at work, we have a bungalow so they have the run of the house and our fully fenced back garden which backs onto a park and the farmers fields are 1 minute walk away, so our location and property is ideal for pets.
