This is a hard one for me to write. This was my first experience with Rover and I was already stressing over leaving my two dogs in the care of someone other than family. Sam knew this and reassured me several times they were in good hands and she even came recommended. Sam was to drop by for evening feeding, bedtime potty, and a few times the next day. Everything went great with the dinner feeding. She stayed for an hour and sent pics all that. Then she was supposed to stop by between 9-10pm to let them out before bed. My security system notifies me when my front door is unlocked so I watched for the notification and it never came. Finally at 10:30pm I text her asking if she was going to let them out. I never received anything back until just before 6 am the next morning saying she had fallen asleep because of being exhausted from her new puppy. She said she’d clean up any messes. It wasn’t about my dogs making a mess. I knew they more than likely hadn’t because that would be a last resort to them. It’s the fact that I trusted someone to take care of my dogs and I was let down. They went ~13 hours without being let out after eating and drinking at dinner time. The rest of the visits went fine thankfully, though for me it’s not acceptable what happened with the bedtime routine. I understand we are all human, things happen and it was nothing done maliciously. I do hope Sam takes actions so that it doesn’t happen to someone else. They aren’t just dogs to me.

Samantha was wonderful to work and communicate with, and took fabulous care of our puppy and our home! We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone else!
She did a wonderful job! The pets seemed very well taken care of and it was clear that she took great care of the house as well. She was very communicative and gave regular updates. I'll definitely use her again.
Sam was nothing but amazing while we were gone! She had great communication skills, and was very professional. She sent us photos of the boys and kept us in the loop of everything going on. I would 1000% recommend her again!

Schedule
I work at a school. I can do before 8am and after 4pm Monday-Friday Weekends I’m free unless blacked out on my calendar. Summer months: my schedule opens up more.
