Friendly & flexible animal lover!
First & foremost I absolutely love animals! I grew up having multiple cats and dogs throughout my childhood and got my own dog in college 12 years ago. Getting a puppy in college at such a young age really taught me how much work it is to care for and train a puppy & having a dog throughout post grad really exposed me to all the responsibility involved in having a pet (the walks, feeding, potty breaks, vet visits, etc). Apart from my own pets - I’ve had roommates & boyfriends with pets and I always happily cared for them as if they were my own. Unfortunately I no longer have any pets of my own but I miss having one and would love to love on yours! I live a very active lifestyle downtown where I’m already always walking through the city on a day to day basis and it would be more fulfilling to swing by and check on your pet or have them join me!

Unfortunately I can’t have pets in my building but would treat your home as my own. I’m extremely respectful and would keep your pet comfortable in their own environment. I listen to directions and would follow any feeding or other instructions to a T! I’d also be sure to check the water bowl & let your pet out for a potty break before I leave.

Sam was very responsible with our Mabel during her dog sitting stay. She sent us updates each day to let us know how she was doing, and to keep us in the know. Mabel had gotten a little sick while Sam was with her and she let us know the next morning after taking good care of her and tracking what happened throughout the day. Definitely a trustworthy sitter and we look forward to working with her again!
As a Rover Pet Sitter myself, I would absolutely recommend Sam for any pet care needs! In addition to being very friendly and kind, Sam is also extremely responsible and hard working, qualities that she would certainly use to care for your pet!

I’ve known Samantha for about 17 years, and she is one of the most trustworthy and caring people I know. She has always been incredibly responsible, dependable, and compassionate, especially when it comes to animals. She had a puppy in college and devoted all her time and energy into making sure she was the best dog mom even while being a busy student and I commend her so much for that! As a dog owner myself, I’m very particular about who I would trust with my golden retriever, and I would feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care at any time. She’s attentive, patient, and genuinely loves being around dogs, which really shows in how she interacts with them. Anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker or pet sitter would be lucky to have her. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
I can’t say enough great things about Samantha. She was an incredibly loving and responsible dog owner for many years, and it always showed in how happy and well-cared-for her dog was. She took routines seriously — daily walks, regular vet visits, healthy food, and lots of attention and affection. Her dog was well-behaved, social, and clearly trusted her completely. Samantha has a calm, patient energy that dogs naturally respond to. I would trust her without hesitation to care for any dog. Schedule
I’m a working professional but I work from home 50% of the time. I live downtown & it would be no issue for me to pop over between meetings, during lunch, or in the evening. I’m around most weekends as well and am totally flexible!
