I have loved and cared for many beloved pets for my entire life including dogs, cats and other species of pets such as bunnies and bearded dragons! My love for caring for animals grew into my professional life where I worked as a veterinary technician in general practice, followed by working as a veterinary surgical technician in a specialty hospital. I have ample experience in caring for pets such as animal handling, walking, feeding, medication administration, nail trims/dremmels, ear cleanings, etc.! I am also trained in signs of distress, body language, abnormal health signs as well as dog and cat CPR. I also have experience working with puppies, kittens, senior dogs/cats, anxious pets, deaf/blind pets, and pets with disabilities. I currently have two cats and a golden retriever puppy that I absolutely adore! My golden is currently in training to become a therapy dog while I pursue my Masters in Social Work along with a Veterinary Social Work certificate, with my end goal being to provide counseling in conjunction with pet therapy. Please reach out with any questions, concerns or specific requests as the comfort and care of your fur baby is my top priority! Updates and photos will be provided for every visit. Samantha is a very sweet and caring person. While speaking with her in our meet and great, I could see how much she loves animals and her true kindness. I knew she was the one to hire to walk my little girl. Also, my Chanel took to her right away. Wagging her little tail and walking up to Samantha.

Schedule
I currently have two cats and one dog, therefore quality pet care is a part of my daily life! I am currently working part-time while I attend school so I have ample availability to care for your pet(s)! I am available any day/time other than Thursdays/Fridays.

I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly 7 month old golden retriever your pup can play with! Outside time is always monitored and enrichment is provided. I have a splash pad and doggie pool for pups to play in and plenty of toys/tennis balls! First aid items are always kept in my home as well in case of emergencies.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs can enjoy walks around my peaceful neighborhood, enjoy naps on the couch or cozy dog beds, or spend time running around in my fenced in backyard complete with a splash pad and doggie pool! I have plenty of tennis balls and other toys for enriching play as well as treats at owners approval and/or request.
