Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Excellent service, good communication, and a great experience all around.

If you are looking for a trusted dog sitter/walker, then look no further - I cant reccomened Sammy enough! Sammy took care of my Dog, Koda, while I was away for 9 months. She didn’t just “watch” my dog — she truly loved and cared for him like he was her own. Throughout the entire time, she went above and beyond in every possible way. She made sure he was happy, healthy, exercised, comfortable, and constantly surrounded by love and attention. I could tell from every update, photo, and interaction that he was genuinely thriving in her care. She learned his personality, routines, and quirks, and treated him with so much patience and affection. What stood out most was the level of trust and peace of mind she gave me. Knowing my dog was safe, loved, and so well cared for allowed me to focus on what I needed to do without constantly worrying. When I got him back, it was obvious how bonded he had become with her, which says everything about the environment she created for him. I genuinely cannot recommend her enough. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to have her care for their pets. She is reliable, compassionate, attentive, and clearly has a true love for animals. If you are looking for someone to trust with your pet, she is absolutely the person you want.

Schedule
I’m currently working on my master’s degree at GW and looking for a part-time job doing something I like to do! During the school year I am home from most days with the exception of going to class! During the summer I am available all days/hours of the week!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by sticking to their normal routine feeding, walks, potty breaks, and of course, playtime (based on what the owner tells me). I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and getting lots of attention. In my home or the client’s, I keep things clean and calm, and I always follow instructions closely. I also send plenty of updates so owners know their pet is doing well!
A typical day
I like to keep pets active and happy with plenty of walks and playtime (depending on the dogs activity level). Depending on what the owner prefers, I’ll take them on walks outside or do play sessions inside/outside the house. I also like playing fetch with a ball, giving them attention, and making sure they get some energy out and feel comfortable while their owners are away.

- I’d want to know a few important things ahead of time so I can take the best care of each animal. I’d ask about their daily routine, like feeding schedule, walk times, and bathroom habits. It’s also helpful to know their personality (like if they’re shy, energetic, friendly with other dogs, or nervous around new people). I’d also want to know about any medical needs, allergies, or medications, plus if there are any behaviors I should be aware of, like leash pulling or anxiety when left alone. And of course, I’d ask what they like and don’t like (like favorite toys, treats, and how they usually like to be comforted or played with).
