Samantha was great to communicate with and very sweet with our dogs! It was our first time doing Rover, so we were a little nervous, bur she made us feel immediately at ease and the dogs were clearly happy to be with her. Location is super pleasant, excellent neighborhood for dog walks. Can’t wait to work with Samantha again!

Pet care fits into my routine quite naturally and I’m able to plan my schedule to make sure dogs are well cared for throughout the day. I do work in an office, but I have some flexibility in my schedule depending on the day and can often adjust my mornings, evenings, or breaks to accommodate walks, feeding, and check-ins. Outside of work hours, I’m home and fully available for morning and evening care, playtime, and overnight boarding. I also make sure weekends are open and consistent for pet care. When I’m boarding a dog, I plan ahead to ensure their needs are fully met and that they’re not left without attention or exercise for long periods. Overall, I’m very intentional about balancing my work schedule with pet care so that each dog feels comfortable, cared for, and part of a stable routine while they’re with me.

When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule, walk routine, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I make sure they get regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day, along with a cozy space to relax and feel at home. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and needs - whether they’re high-energy and need more exercise and stimulation, or more relaxed and prefer a quieter environment. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being and will communicate immediately if anything seems off. In a client’s home, I would respect their space and routine, making sure everything is cared for exactly as instructed, including feeding, walks, clean-up, and any special requests. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel reassured and connected while they’re away.

Walks, playtime, trips to the dog park near my apartment (if your pup enjoys it) or walks to the park, lots of cuddles, and personalized care every day.
