I currently work as a veterinary technician while applying for vet school! I love all animals and have cared for animals of all types and sizes over the years! I’ve had my own pets: ranging from dogs and cats to birds, snakes, and gerbils and everything in between. I was always the primary care taker of them and wouldn’t have it any other way. My family members have trusted me to care for their pets while they’re away as well. Through many years as a vet tech, I’ve learned to read animal behavior pretty well and have picked up some skill on how to help with pets that may be a bit nervous. I spend almost every day with other peoples pets at my job and I absolutely adore every moment of it!

I have tons of experience with nervous pets and making them comfortable. I’m a big fan of positive reinforcement with tasty treats and taking things slow and at your pets pace! Whatever your pet is most comfortable with, is the way we’ll do things. I am also experienced with medications of all kinds if your pet is on any and needs them to be administered!

Sam did a great job on her drop in with Mav! You could tell by the pictures he had a great time. She was on time and connected with me before hand. Will use Sam again for sure.
Sam is the only person I have ever trusted to leave my 6 year old cattle dog with. Her attentiveness to detail showed from the moment they were introduced. He is a very selective dog and Sam took the time to respect his boundaries and allow time to establish a bond before jumping in. She took time to learn his medication routine, favorite treats, and even how he likes to play “catch”. It was comforting to know I didn’t need to leave him in any kind of a kennel or facility; it was even more comforting receiving daily updates/ photos without even having to ask! I couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker for my best friend. I would recommend Sam to all.
Sam watched our cats and dog in our home. She went above and beyond taking care of our loving pets. She sent us photo updates daily which we really appreciated. She had to give our dog medication and she was a pro at it. I would recommend her to everyone I know.

Schedule
My work schedule changes a bit weekly but I’m always around on the weekends and evenings! I’ll be sure to update my calendar based off of my work schedule so that I’m able to give the most time to your pets!
