Hello! I’m an experienced pet sitter with several years working in a kennel environment and as a groomer. I also enjoy fostering/training dogs for local shelters! I have experience with behaviorally complex dogs as well as working and giant breeds. In addition to professional experience caring for dogs, I also have three personal dogs that I train, show, and trial with in sports!

Sam did an amazing job watching Rouge while I was out of town! This was my first time leaving her with someone through Rover, and he made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. His communication was GREAT! He kept me informed throughout her stay and sent me pictures of Rouge every single day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He followed all of the instructions I left for her care and feeding, and I genuinely felt like he treated Rouge as if she were his own dog. His space was also very clean and well kept, which I really appreciated. Rouge was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of when I picked her up. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with Rover. I would absolutely book with Sam again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and caring to watch their dog!
Sam was the best! I was so nervous leaving my dogs and plus one of them is shy but Sam had no problems the dogs loved him! We found our new dog sitter! I can’t thank him enough 10/10!
Sam took excellent care of our 14 week old puppy. He provided updates and sent pictures, and really helped put us at ease for leaving our young pup with him. His two dogs also helped provided some extra training and fun for our pup, too! Will definitely look to rebook with Sam if schedules align.

Left my dog for 8 days—the longest we’ve ever left her—but knew she was in great hands with Sam! He always sends updates and does whatever he can to ensure that Honey is comfortable. :)

Schedule
I work from home, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’m generally not out of the house for more than an hour or two each day.

Safety, trust & environment
I want your dogs to feel at home here! My three bedroom home has a fully fenced yard and is set up to be safe and comfortable for pets. Dogs who prefer to be the only pet are welcome to solo access to the back yard and one on one time in the house with me! Safety is always my first priority, so all dogs are crated for meal times and when unsupervised/over night. Please note that we have one adult cat in the house! While she is very dog savvy, I’m happy to ensure she is in a separate space if needed.

We love to have fun here! Your pets will be treated with the same care as my own. All dogs in our house get daily walks, play time, and enrichment games!
