They/them. I am a PhD student living in Chicago! I am from Kansas, and I miss my dogs from home immensely. Caring for your dog or cat would be an absolute treat! I have had dogs and cats for my entire life. I got my first chocolate lab puppy of my own when I was 9, and cared for her throughout her life. I got another puppy (an adorable lab mix named Scout) when I was a junior in high school. He lives with my parents along with our other lab mix Zoey! Two of my family's dogs have had puppies during my life, and I helped care for both of the mothers and the puppies for their first few months of life! I absolutely love working with dogs, and have experience with dogs of all ages. I have walked pups and done petsitting through Rover and Wag for the past five years. While living in Portland, I volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society as well, where I walked dogs and worked with anxious and shy pups to help them adjust to the shelter environment. I am happy to play with your young pup or snuggle on the couch with your senior dog! I am communicative and responsible, and I will prioritize meeting your pup's every need! I am also happy to send you as many updates as you would like. I also love cats and would be happy to snuggle with your kitty! I had several cats growing up, and currently have two sweet kitties at home! Both of them are shy and anxious, so I have a special affection for shy/anxious kitties, but I love all cats!

I always keep pets on-leash, and am comfortable with all sorts of harnesses / walking needs. I am comfortable crating your pup if needed, and am flexible and willing to care for your pup in the way that they need!

Sam has watched my dog a few times and I really appreciate how they’re so open with communication! My pup is an old guy and has been having a hard time not having poo/pee accidents, so I extra appreciate Sam keeping me in the loop and being so kind cleaning up.
Sam is so nice and thoughtful taking care of my old boy Reggie! I appreciate the quick communication and super appreciate that they’re ok with being mindful of my old pups mobility issues!
Sam has watched our Penny a few times now, and every time we return to a happy dog. They have had great communication and send lots of photos, which we appreciate. We will be using Sam again.
Sam was so great! They were truly so thoughtful watching my older pup, Reggie. I so appreciated them doing a meet and greet so I could get them familiar with Reggie since he has some trouble with walking sometimes. I felt comfortable and safe with Sam watching my old fella! We had Sam watch our two dogs while we went on a trip overseas. During the sit, Sam got sick but jumped right in to helping find a backup plan. It was much appreciated while we were away. Sam and her partner were great with the dogs and very communicative, even outside the app. Always nice to have a good sitter nearby. Thank you again, Sam!
Sam took wonderful care of our rambunctious Penny. They took special care of Penny's little quarks and gave her lots of love. Our home was left as clean as we left it and left Penny happy and healthy. We will definitely be booking Sam again.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule because I am a student! I am happy to be home snuggling with your pup or kitty, and love hanging out at home when not in class!
