I currently work from home 2 days a week and I would love to make time in the morning, afternoon, or evening for walks or drop ins to fill water bowls and let them out for a pee break. Why not help others with their dogs while they have to work at the office or have an appointment and the dog needs to be let out.

I would only care for a dog in the client’s home, not in my own. I like to see where I will be working, meet the client and the dog, and make sure I am familiar with how to get in and out of the home. And that the dog likes me. I respect your space and your things. I ask a lot of questions in order to develop a trusting relationship and appreciate open communication.

I like to know if they are on a bathroom or walk schedule, if they are good with other dogs or people approaching them or petting them. Their schedule and flexibility. Any quirks, do they get nervous easily? My sisters previous dog was very hesitant to strangers. As much as you would like to tell me!
A typical day
I love to go on walks or throw the ball outside. I’ve also done 10min walks and the remainder 20mins was focused on play time in the house.

I’ve taken care of my family dogs since I was young. Over the last few years Rover clients, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their dogs while on trips or just to help them out for an afternoon and take their precious angels for a walk.
