Tracy and I both have pretty flexible schedules these days. I work from home 3 days a week (in the office 2 days a week) and she works completely remotely, so her office is at the house. When we are hosting a dog one of us would always be at the house with the dog.

We have a rowhouse in the northernmost part of Columbia Heights. Your dog would be walked regularly, we really like walking through the Crestwood neighborhood…lots of wooded space and quiet streets with light traffic.

A typical day
We will walk dogs who board with us multiple times per day. We also enjoy jogging and would be happy to take your dog for a jog if you think they are up for it.

Pet care experience
We are experienced dog owners who currently do not have a dog. We miss having a dog around the house but are not ready to get a new pup yet. Until we do decide to get a new dog we decided it would be fun to take care of other people's dogs. We've been doing Rover since January 2022 and really enjoy it! When hosting a dog we will send a daily update (with picture) just to let you know how things are going while you're away from your furry family member.

Sam and Tracy were excellent hosts to my dog Dillon! Their communication was superb, they were always easy to get ahold of and they were sure to care for Dillon’s needs. I appreciated their daily updates, and it was clear Dillon had a blast with them. Highly recommend!
