Hi there! I'm Sam (they/them pronouns), formerly known as Anna. I will be quitting Rover at the end of November 2025. I am not taking new clients at this time. Thank you! I have always loved animals of any kind. In addition to a dog, my pets have included rabbits, cats, and gerbils, so I am adept at taking care of a variety of animal needs. I'm happy to play fetch, give belly rubs, and go on long walks to the park or short walks around the block. I have been a house/pet-sitter for neighbors and family friends, for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I'm patient and thoughtful and really like getting to know dogs' personalities. I also have a little experience working on basic obedience skills and can accommodate the needs of most dogs. My time is very flexible, afternoons and weekends especially, but I can be available for mornings as needed.

Safety is my number one priority with any pet, and I'll make sure your pets are happy and comfortable. You can trust that I will follow all care instructions and keep an eye on them in the yard and on walks. I also request vet information, just in case of any emergencies.

Sam has been so trustworthy house sitting for us the last couple years. We are so appreciative to know our doggie and kitty are well cared for while we are on vacation. We return home to clean and also well cared for home. I’ve felt like we have a new family member.
Sam is wonderful! Got regular updates with pics and commentary. Felt very comfortable with them in my house caring for my dog while I was away.

Sam was great doing drop in care for Toby this weekend! Looking forward to having them house/dog sit for us this weekend as well.
Sam was great! Communicative and also took amazing care of our two dogs and cat! They followed instructions and we felt so at ease leaving the animals with them!

I don't have another job, so I am free to stay with your pet at all hours, and can easily adjust my routine to your pet's needs and schedule.
