Pet care experience

Caring, communicative, capable!

I’ve been trusted with the care of all kinds of animals from a young age, to include: 10-75+ pound dogs (including a police K9), indoor/outdoor cats, rodents, fish, turtles, crabs, and reptiles. I’ve taken care of as many as 12 animals for two weeks straight (for one client), so I'm more than capable of managing any amount! I provide quality care and communicate in a timely manner; so, if you want guaranteed peace of mind about your pets when you’re out of town, I'm your guy! I’m happy to meet with you and your animal(s) to see if we’re the right fit for each other- up to half an hour free!

I am also more than willing to directly involve myself in ensuring the safety of your pet(s) and/or property.

Sam has been caring for our dogs for 10 years. It is not your normal pet siting situation. At times we had up to 5 high drive dogs, including Belgian Malinois and German Sheperd Dogs in our house that Sam cared for. We never had to worry about the dogs when Sam was taking care of them. He is always responsible and goes above and beyond to ensure the dogs are well cared for. Sam provides us with routine updates, which gives us priceless peace of mind when we leave them at home. He is always on time and in addition to taking care of our dogs he will also handle routine tasks around the house like bringing in the mail or packages.

Schedule

I am a full-time student for this summer semester with the majority of my classes being online/asynchronous, which keeps me free for drop-ins and full time house sits! On Monday and Tuesday mornings, I have in-person courses in the local area (Stafford and Spotsylvania respectively), and anticipate being unavailable for no more than four hours maximum depending on your location, though it is likely I'll be available again within three hours.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Sam can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
1. Do they have any health issues that I should be aware of? What are they and how can I help them (administering medicine, vet trips, etc)? 2. Is there any history of past abuse/trauma that could make them more temperamental? 3. Are they potty-trained or do they frequently have accidents? 4. Do they generally prefer a more active or more relaxed day? In general, I like to know the personalities, needs, and routines of each animal. This will only help me take care of them better, and free to give as much detail as you want!
