I am an emergency medicine physician assistant and have a fairly flexible schedule. I love animals and therefore, I will only accept requests to care for doggos on my days off to ensure that they get the attention/love that they deserve!! Pups under my care will frequent the dog park or hiking trails for some good smells and fresh air. You may notice that I have no recent reviews on Rover. I am new to Hawaii (from Massachusetts) as of May 2024 and just recently back on Rover. BUT I have no short of pet experience.

Dogs will have a minimum of 5 walks per day for daycare (if wanted) and lots of snuggles. I live in a nice, calm neighborhood with a small yard. I also have a setup for my car including a dog seatbelt for trips to the park/hikes.

I’d love to know how your pet is with other animals and/or people, exercise requirements, and their diet. I’m always open to a good hike too!
A typical day
Your pet and I will have lots of fun playing with toys, playing fetch at the dog park, and going on walks! Please share with me what your pet loves to do and if there are any new commands I can help teach :)

I have years of experience caring for pets (dogs, cats, birds) including my own pets and those of friends, family, and Rover. I love animals and your pup would have my undivided attention!

Our bulldog, Athena, recently had an emergency surgery a few weeks before our trip. My fiancé was very close to staying back until we met Sam! Our dog was spoiled, loved, & very well taken care of while we were gone. Sam administered all her meds, & was very attentive during our dog’s recovery. I loved all the photos and updates she provided while Athena was under her care! To anyone thinking of booking Sam, do it! I highly recommend!!!
Sam was awesome! Seemed very responsible and caring for my dogs. Sent numerous pix and updates throughout the weekend during which she cared for them. We came home to happy pups. We’d definitely utilize Sam again in the future when we can make it work.
