Boarding: I do not own any other pets, and I do not currently allow sitting pets from multiple homes at once. For boarding - your dog will for the most part have free roam of my apartment, and good potty training is expected. I would not recommend very plant-curious dogs to board at my home. Coming to your home: I always maintain a base line of respect and privacy when coming to your home. My focus is your pet and their well-being and nothing else. I ensure to abide by your norms such as removing shoes, and keeping away from private areas of your home unless required. I can check on other things in your home to ensure there's no upturned trash, water leaks, or other issues while you're away. If there are any messes in your home, I am more than happy to take care of them with your direction and using your cleaning products.

Please let me know of any medication schedules and needs, and what type of activity your pet is used to. I will do my absolute best to keep their routines and habits similar! Please let me know of any naughty tendencies your pet may be interested in, so I can employ some prevention at my home such as securing garbage bins, or providing chew toys.
A typical day
We can go on walks to smell all the new smells, letting them lead the way until we build a comfortable recognition of the area. At home, we can relax and enjoy some snuggles, play with toys, and of course lots of affection! I live near a dog park where we can throw a ball or run around.

Pet care experience
I love cuddles and spending time with the dogs in my company. When looking after friend's dogs, I have helped with training good behaviour on walks, and I'm happy to enforce the norms and rules your dog is used to. I have the benefit of having a flexible day so I can pay attention to your pet when they need it. My home is fairly low energy and I hope to provide a calm and loving refuge for your pet while you are away. Unfortunately I do not board cats to keep my home allergy friendly, but I will happily take care of and give love and affection to cats on drop in visits. :) I owned a free roam rabbit for 3 years, and I have a thorough understanding of their unique needs and body language. I also love taking videos to send along for your reassurance. Let's have a conversation so I can be the best sitter for your needs!

Sam took care of my 6 year old dog for well over a week while on vacation with my family. She did a phenomenal job watching Piper and was able to navigate her leash reactivity during their many walking adventures. Sam was very diligent when it came to keeping Piper's home norms consistent while she stayed with her but also did a great job of spoiling her with extra love and attention. I was actually able to sit back and relax while on vacation because I had all the confidence in the world that Sam would take the best care of Piper! If you are thinking of having Sam watch your little furry family member, do not hesitate as they will be in the best of hands! :)
Sam is such a great pet sitter! She carried out everything I'd asked for and went above and beyond by doing an unprompted additional visit when my cat had seemed unwell during her daily scoop/feed visit. The thoughtfulness allowed me to actually enjoy my trip! I appreciated her communication and sharing of pictures :) She will be my go to in future!
