I was very fortunate to come across Sam on Rover. She was the perfect match for my 4 pound Chihuahua. Sam was very caring and sent me constant updates as well as pictures while I was away on a 10-day trip. At no time did I ever feel concerned that my dog wasn't being cared for. I will absolutely be using Sam again in the future.

Sam was amazing! I needed a sitter short notice and they were more than happy to help. My cat Benny instantly was in love with Sam and was completely spoiled and almost didn't care I was I even gone haha I get incredible anxiety having to leave my munchkin and having Sam look after the little guy was such a huge help. Very professional, friendly and so great with critters, I feel like I made a new friend also!!! I looked forward to the Benny updates/pictures everyday was never let down.Will absolutely book again!!

Schedule
I am available seven days a week for drop-in visits and small dog sitting out of my own home. My dogs get daily exercise through walks and adventures around the neighbourhood. Mental stimulation is also a key part of our weekly routines—sometimes that’s puzzles, other times it’s hide and seek with treats. They get baths weekly and teeth brushed as often as they allow. I work part-time Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and have a short break where I come home to let the dogs out. My girls are usually kenneled in their room during that time, but this is not expected for visitors as we have spaces suited for guest dogs as well.

I love my pets more than anything. With a five-pet, no-child household, they always get the care and attention they need. We live in a big house with a fenced yard, and our schedule includes regular walks and vet visits. I accept small dogs only for in-home playdates and boarding. I understand how hard it is to trust someone else to treat your little dog the way they deserve—pampered and spoiled. Little dog owners know small dogs are a completely different ballgame than big dogs, requiring a special level of care that I’m happy to provide. My two girls would love to make friends with your little treasure.

A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, stimulated, and engaged—both physically and mentally! With dogs, that often means going for a walk so they can explore, sniff, and take in all the sights and smells. If I’m stopping by for a potty break, they’ll still get plenty of love, attention, and playtime—whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, or any other game they enjoy. With my feline clients, it’s always on their terms—cats make the rules! Some prefer cuddle sessions, others want to play, and some just need time to get used to me. I’m happy to simply sit on the floor and let them sniff, observe, and approach when they’re ready. Whatever makes them feel comfortable, safe, and content is exactly what we’ll do.
