I have always dogs all my life! I grew up with breeds from border collies to newfoundlands to boxers and now have two golden doodles. I’ve also always had a tabby cat in the house so my pet expertise has a range of experience. My parents rely on me to take of the the family pets when they are out of town or busy at work and I happily take the dogs on long walks and have fun playing fetch in the yard. I am a new graduate student at UMN and am excited to get to know the twin cities with your pets! I have a fairly regular 8 hour schedule so overnight visits are perfect for me to get to know your furry friends! I have done Rover for over two years now and have had plenty of experiences with many different types of dogs and cats, as well as the occasional rabbit or bird! I ensure to ask any and all questions regarding a pets normal routine to ensure that a stay with me is not stressful, as I find that sometimes missing an owner can be a lot for a pet! I also try to communicate as much as needed during the stay, whether it be through photos of the pet or relaying important changes in appetite or energy!

Sam is amazing. She has watched Henrietta (my cat) multiple times both in terms of house sitting and drop ins. She is so kind, reliable, respectful and was able to super quickly create a trusting relationship with my cat. Henrietta LOVES her!

Our dog ADORES Sam, and we think she’s pretty great also. Super communicative and responsive when we had a few questions/additional requests during the stay. Sam even came home on her lunch break one day to walk Spunky when she knew she’d be home a little later than anticipated. Came home to a happy pup, clean apartment and even warm sheets! Thanks Sam!
Sam is absolutely amazing. She house sit for our Bernese mountain dog for an extended weekend and did a fantastic job. Sam is communicative, organized, and very thoughtful! I would recommend Sam to anyone who’s looking for a sitter!

Schedule
I am a full time graduate student so the best fit for me is a pet that can be left alone for some time! I often times have free weekends and also LOVE to hike in the area in my free time as well.
