I am a full time graduate student so the best fit for me is a pet that can be left alone for some time! I often times have free weekends and also LOVE to hike in the area in my free time as well.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs, and try to find a dogs favorite activity in the first few hours of spending time with them! I also really enjoying walking, running, and hiking and will take your dog for as long a walk as they might like on a weekend or evening!

Pet care experience
I have always dogs all my life! I grew up with breeds from border collies to newfoundlands to boxers and now have two golden doodles. I’ve also always had a tabby cat in the house so my pet expertise has a range of experience. My parents rely on me to take of the the family pets when they are out of town or busy at work and I happily take the dogs on long walks and have fun playing fetch in the yard. I am a new graduate student at UMN and am excited to get to know the twin cities with your pets! I have a fairly regular 8 hour schedule so overnight visits are perfect for me to get to know your furry friends! I have done Rover for over two years now and have had plenty of experiences with many different types of dogs and cats, as well as the occasional rabbit or bird! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sam took great care of Archie! She communicated updates, sent pictures, and asked questions when needed to provide responsive care for Archie.
This was our first time using Rover for a house stay/pet sitting, so we were a bit nervous. It was obvious at our meet and greet that Sam was going to be great. She had great rapport with us and our animals, and did a great job taking care of everything. Our pup Rocco requires medication, which she administered and tracked, and we received updates according to our preferences. We came back to a clean house and happy, relaxed animals. Rocco misses her already!
Sam did an excellent job taking care of my dog! She was great about following Archie's routines and kept me updated regularly throughout the weekend.
