I'm a walker, I'm a dog cuddler
Hi there, my name is Sam and I really love pets. We currently have a brindle dog named Fern and a black cat named Hilda. I have always been a huge dog person. I am a firm believer that being around animals, especially our furbabies, improves peoples' mood and reduces stress. I take good care of pets while their fur-parents are gone by taking them on walks, giving them plenty of playtime and cuddles. I have 15 years of experience in dog walking and pet sitting, from my time in undergrad, grad school and the years between. The first dog I professionally walked was a golden retriever by the name of Buckley, and he was a hoot. I would walk to his owner's house in between undergrad classes and give him a 30 minute walk every day. Buckley was a fan of sticks and we would sit in the lawn as he chewed at his stick (sometimes branch) of the day. I am a reliable and caring sitter, who treats pets like my own (I really love dogs).

Your home: I do enjoy a meet and greet so I can spend time getting to know you, your pet and learn about their routine. Our home: We have a fenced in yard with plenty of things to sniff and toys to play fetch with. Our dog gets at least 2 walks a day. We also have blankets, beds, and a crate in storage if needed.

Sam is the absolute best! Fern, and Hilda are the best to Oso and we will use Sam whenever we can!
They were so great with Oso! Always sending us pictures and giving us updates and Oso was sooooo tired after we picked him up, he must have played with Fern and Hilda the whole time! Already booked Sam for the next trip!
Sam did a great job taking care of Finley and Jojo. She even took Finley back to her house when he had some diarrhea so he could hang out in her yard and relax a little bit.
I did several meet and greet days as well as having my dog stay with her for the day before asking to book a boarding stay. She agreed to board him for 10 days. 1 day after dropping him off she told me he was difficult and that she had “committed to too much” and asked me to make other arrangements. I had to ask a friend to go pick him up on Christmas Eve 1 day into my 10 day trip.
Great sitter! I am going to be using her as my go-to sitter. Their dog Fern and the their kitten Hilda were great playmates and Finn had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I work from home most days, and journey into the office about one or two times a week. My work has a lot of flexibility!
