I’ve had a deep passion for engaging with and taking care of animals since I was a kid; specifically with dogs & cats. I’ve been fortunate enough to have become a reliable sitter for several families and neighbors that I grew up with on Long Island, and have been able to continue serving many different owners across Manhattan while I attend university here in the city. My apartment is perfect for in-home boarding requests as this has become my favorite form of pet-care. Personally, I’ve yet to find anything in my life that I enjoy more than getting to play with and look after dogs and cats; over the years I’ve learned such a great deal about the type of engagement that dogs really need throughout their daily activity, as well as providing a safe and protected environment for cats that wish to roam. I’ve have solid experience administering medication, following strict meal plans, and even training as needed - all animals are different and require different types of care. It would be my privilege to watch over yours!

I had such a great experience having Taz stay with them! They were so kind, caring, and wonderful with him. I really appreciated the photos and updates they sent while I was away. I can't recommend Sam enough! I'm so grateful for all the help he gave me and for offering so many options to make Bruce's transition as easy as possible. He was amazing with Bruce, and it was clear that both he and his dog, Mylo, made Bruce feel comfortable and happy. Sam kept me updated throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. My chocolate lab, Chewey, absolutely adores Sam and is stuck to his side like glue! Sam has helped me out with Chewey for years now; giving Chewey his medication, taking him on walks and keeping him active, and he’s had Chewey stay in his home while I was away for weeks at times. Chewey has thrived with Sam and is so happy when he gets to sleepover. Sam is so gentle with Chewey and is always willing to help with whatever I need for him. Truly cannot recommend Sam enough to help care for your furry loved ones!!

Schedule
I’m currently enrolled asynchronously at Touro University to pursue my Masters in Education which provides me with plenty of time and availability to be present and engaged with the animals I’ve been fortunate enough to work with.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious apartment with a full trained & vaccinated Labrador puppy of my own who’s incredibly docile, but quite playful! I am fully stocked on food, toys, treats, vitamins, an Animal First-Aid Kit, and even HeartGuard + Symperica Trio supplements (just in case.) Ofcourse, watching your animal in your home would be no problem either and I have extensive experience in doing so - it all really just depends on your need. Committing to your pet’s regimen and ensuring their comfort will always remain my highest priority.
Pets
A typical day
All pets are different, ofcourse. I prefer to keep yours active or engaged in some manner; preferably taking them outside and allowing them the chance to play and socialize. However, should your pet be the kind that needs space they will be provided that and anything else that they may need.
