Very flexible schedule!
I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover, here to help you take care of your pets, whether it be for that next trip, a quick check-in while you're at work, or an ongoing booking. I'm now in my 4th year on Rover. I love getting to know animals with their various personalities and quirks, and tailoring my care to suit their needs. I've worked with hundreds of pet owners and dozens of dog and cat breeds of all sizes, from Shih Tzus to Saint Bernards (plus the occasional rabbits, reptiles, fish, chickens, etc.) I live in Bluff Heights with my former indoor/outdoor cat Pigeon, who's valiantly getting used to his new Catio and the traffic sounds of LA.

I know that every pet has a unique personality, and have no problem accommodating a nervous or shy type who needs time to adjust. On the flip side, I thrive with active and outgoing animals who need extra attention and playtime. I'd love to know more about your pet and their specific needs.

We can highly recommend Sam. We booked months ahead and he came promptly to meet our dogs and to understand what was expected of him. The week before he was to sit, he visited with the dogs, again. One of our dogs has medical needs that require multiple meds and supplements. Sam gave her what she needed, on schedule. He took the dogs on good walks, avoiding the hottest part of the day. For a week, he stayed overnight with them. (Our home was left neat and clean by Sam.) Our dogs were clearly well-taken care of. He sent us photos and videos of their daily activities. We certainly will rebook Sam when we need a sitter we can trust to care for our dogs. Thank you, Sam!
Sam took care of our elder cat now twice and we would not hesitate to rebook with him. He has communicated great through text and photos. Also kept an eye on the house why we were away. Thank you Sam!

Schedule
While I do some freelancing work, pet sitting is my full-time profession, so my schedule is open and flexible. Feel free to reach out to discuss your scheduling needs with me. Some additional flexibility: my partner Danielle is also a part-time Rover sitter and we're often able to accommodate a shared booking for drop-ins if needed. While I will work to arrive within 15 minutes of the booking time, I ask that you allow for outside factors (traffic conditions, accidents, weather), in rare cases where that window might extend. Overnight sitting covers 12 hours from evening to morning, with 1 midday visit if needed. Rates are based off of my time with your pet per hour, pet care experience, Rover’s 20% sitter fee, self-employment taxes, travel time + gas, complimentary meet & greets, and complimentary key pick up/drop offs. While I charge the listed fare, if a booking involves extensive travel time or extended care, the rate may vary. I will always be upfront with this and will never charge more than I quote. - Some things that are helpful to know: Current vet info and emergency contact(s), medical needs, walk routine & favorite routes, potty routine, and training techniques. For house sitting, any off-limits rooms/furniture, and household details—thermostat, cleaning supplies, alarms & cameras, etc. I will make sure to ask any relevant follow-up questions.
