Nice fenced in yard in the country!
Dog safety is #1. Interesting fact: I was a designated Dog Runner for several years in Chicago. I’ve always had various animal caretaking jobs throughout my life, but now I feel like I am in the peak of my career with my own two huskies! I do love taking care of them and it’s always great to have company over for them to play with. Our fenced in yard is really ideal for a dog play vacation. We do love frequent supervised group play, but if needed we have extra crate space or rooms to give our pups a little alone time. Mainly, we just try to provide a safe space and the proper supervision for the dogs to be comfortable and have a great day playing together.

Excellent experience! I’ve boarded Zorro at Sam and Tracy’s twice and have had a wonderful experience. Excellent communication and amazing picture updates. I know that Zorro always has a great time there.
Sam took great care of our husky. Updated us with pictures and videos of him playing with his two dogs and out on walks.
Luna had a great time staying with Sam! She got plenty of play time and walks with Storm and Winter. Sam was very communicative, giving us daily updates, and took some amazing photos of Luna. We will definitely have Luna stay with Sam in the future!

Sam is amazing! He is such a nice guy also his husky girls are super friendly! I am so picky and crazy protective doggy mom, also one has separate anxiety w me, but they both seemed have a very good time w Sam and his pups! My dogs are smiling on the photos Sam sent me! This was my first time boarding my dog in a home stay. I felt immediately at ease with Sam and, in my questioning, it was clear that he is very experienced and knowledgeable about dogs. Sam took care of my active 3 yo for nearly two weeks over Christmas and New Years and my girl had a fabulous time playing and chilling with Sam's two, beautiful huskies, and some other guests. Not only could they play in Sam's yard, but he took them out on walks and even an outing. Sam's communication is outstanding and he provided updates with photos during the stay. I know that my dog received excellent care and I've already booked another stay with him. I can't speak highly enough about Sam!

Schedule
My Spouse, Tracy, and I both work from home, so spending time with the dogs is always a highlight in our day. Our huskies are super nice and also very playful, so any additional company is always fun. - Once safety is covered, we try and have lots of fun! We average going out in the yard at least once an hour to throw the ball and let the doggies play. Dog parties are the best 🐕🐕🐕

FAQ’s: - We do supervise all dog play. - The dogs sleep inside separated into their own room (TV room, dining room, etc.) whether or not they sleep in a crate. We are open to custom sleeping arrangements if needed. - Feeding times are the typical AM/PM schedule, but, since we’re usually home, we are available to accommodate specialized feeding schedules. - We do inspect all dogs for ticks or foxtails after walks and always stay on maintained paths/trails to avoid any unwanted hitchhikers all together. - Working from home, there is usually someone at the house, but if we need to leave together, we don’t leave any dogs home for more than 4 hours. - Yes! We love sharing photos and videos of your pup during their stay 📸

A typical day
I love playing in the yard with our dog guests. If everyone is behaving with toys, it's fun to play fetch and tug-o-war out here. We live on the edge of a beautiful nature preserve, called Day Island. It's got great hiking trails, so there are many options to walk with the pups. I'm always careful to keep the dogs on the path in case of any unwanted hitchhikers!
