Hello, my name is Sam! I've always loved animals from a young age, having all types of pets for as long as I can remember. In 2021 I was fortunate enough to work in an animal rescue, caring for so many different animals my passion grew rapidly. I have 8 pets of my own - 1 dog, 3 cats and 4 rabbits who are my absolute world ❤️. Being a pet owner and going on holiday or days away myself, I get anxious and always worry if they'll be looked after properly (I'm the pet owner that leaves 4 laminated sheets of instructions) 🥹, so I can completely understand the reservations people have. I want to be the person who can put your worries aside and you can be sure your furries will be looked after and spoilt as if they were my own until you come home. I have great experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and some other exotics and farm animals as well as wildlife. I am confident and have experience administering various medications to various species. I also currently work in a veterinary practice and have gained so much knowledge including identifying emergency situations allowing me to take the best care of your pets. I hope to meet you and your lovely furry friends soon 😊🐾. Please message me if some dates you require are unavailable on my calendar and I'll do my best to accommodate 😊. For visits over 5 miles from my area there is an additional 50p charge per mile.

I am very careful with open doors as I have house cats of my own. I make sure my rabbits are secure in cages before I leave and my dogs collar, harness and lead are secure before any walks.

From the start, Sam was professional, warm, and incredibly mindful. She took the time to understand not just their routines, but their personalities, quirks, and what makes them feel safe and at ease in their own home. She didn’t just follow instructions – she tuned in, adapted to their needs, and went above and beyond to make sure they were not just looked after, but genuinely cared for. Coming home, I could see the difference. Happy dogs, calm energy, and a home that had clearly been respected and cared for. Sam truly treated them like her own, and that means the world to me. Sam is the perfect pet sitter!! Our rabbit Thumper has found a new friend! He had no problems with having Sam around whilst we were away, as sometimes he’s a bit skittish with new people, but he was loving the cuddles and attention. I received so many lovely updates and photos during each visit which was great to see that he was happy and getting all the care he needs. Would definitely recommend picking Sam! We will no doubt be back in touch if we need more petsits ☺️
Sam did a brilliant job with my cat Reuben! She was really communicative with me while I was away over the weekend and she really took the time to bond with Reuben and make sure he was alright! It gave me real peace of mind whilst I was away that Reuben was in good hands
Sam was relaxed which allowed Freddie to be relaxed from the start. He loved their walks and playing even have both of them in our wedding photos so he will not forget the day

Schedule
I work in a veterinary practice Monday to Friday helping care for the inpatients and patients in for appointments. At home I have a zoo of 8 I care for everyday, administering meds, feeding, cleaning etc.
