Dogs are my people!
I've been living with and loving animals all my life. I've volunteered at a shelter for 3 years. I have several years of experience with senior and deaf dogs. I have a calming presence, and I have a solid understanding of dog behavior.

My pup was imm immediately comfortable with Sam. She was ready for some food and a nap. Sam obviously loves animals. Sis knew it right away. It’s a good feeling to know your dog will feel safe and be safe with a good sitter.

Sam is such a wonderful dog lover and knew exactly what our dog Dublin is like and how to introduce him to other dogs. We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.
Sam did an amazing job taking care of Twiggy! I got tons of photos, and Twiggy had a great time running around in the yard.
Sam took great care of our dog Nittany when we were in town for a wedding. Nittany loved the fenced in yard and had a great few days. We’d recommend Sam to anyone!
Sam loves dogs and was very good with Heidi. I enjoyed meeting her and her furry friends.

Programa
I am home for the summer while in between terms at college. This is currently my only employment and I have full availability throughout the week.

I live a mile from the Maryland state line, just off the highway. I have 6 and 1/2 acres of land, most of which is wooded. There is a small fenced in area attached to the house. I live with my parents. I have a 8 year old female lab mix who is shy at first, loving, playful, and laid back. She has extensive experience with other dogs including groups of 3 or more. Her favorite places are the couch and basking in the sun. I also have 4 cats. Myka, the oldest, is friendly with dogs. The other 3 avoid dogs, but they all have access to a dog-free area.

I can take them on walks around my property. I will only take them around the open areas or lightly wooded areas in the front as they have well-maintained trails. I can also take them to the nearby National Battlefield for longer walks on weekends.
