Have walked dogs 5+ miles
I am a dog loving patient person who enjoys long walks. I have volunteered with the SPCA and have been around teacup Chihuahuas to big and active dogs such as Shepherds, Great Danes, and high energy Greyhounds and Catahoulas. I have owned and taken care of several big dogs most of my life to include: a Shepherd, Black Labs, a couple Dachshunds and a full-blooded Catahoula; so I understand the rigours of the exercise that they need. I am available almost anytime, except for the hours of church. Give me a shout and if you would prefer to meet me before entrusting your faithful companion or baby to my care, I would be happy to meet up with you and rover to see how we click.

Sam understands our Oreo. Moving into a new home and having to adjust to different schedules. Sam was patient in letting Oreo adjust to this situation. In time, they will be best buds.
Because I'm not a "pet owner," I'm not a good judge of pet interaction. Sam has been a friend for several years and I know he has owned dogs.
