Have had labs, retrievers and mixes but I don’t dog discriminate. Have taken care of almost every breed, size and age over the years. I am confident in my dog whispering skills; just need to make sure they are comfortable how much attention and care they need.
A typical day
Running, walking, dog parks, ball playing or just hanging out in the yard. Whatever is good and comfortable for the dog and owner is what I am here for.

Just rejoined Rover after a 7 year hiatus and excited to help care for some new dogs again. I grew up in Connecticut, where my mom taught me a home is not a home without a dog. Took care of 4 family dogs throughout my childhood and into adult life; my parents still have our yellow lab mix Micki at home who I dog sit. I am working remote and in between Westchester and Dutchess County, where I co own a rescue dog with my GF. Looking to meet some new dogs and help in any way possible; dog walking, overnights, playing, feeding and anything else needed. My schedule is extremely flexible right now so let me know how I can help you with your pet.

Sam took care of my Wheaten, Darwin, for 6 days. He was very flexible when it turned out that Darwin was sick the day we were supposed to leave. Instead of taking Darwin to his place, he came to my house multiple times a day for 2 days and monitored Darwin's eating and pooping. When Darwin was better Sam took him home with him. Sam reported back to me frequently so I would be current on Darwin's status. Throughout the whole stay Sam sent pictures and kept me posted on what he and Darwin were doing. Sam is very easy to work with and is calm and confident. I recommend him to anyone!
Sam was reliable and responsive and our dog, Nala, took to him right away.
Sam did a great job. I plan to use his services again.
Sam has been walking our dog since we moved to the area and he has been reliable, takes good care of our dog and even grabs packages for us and brings them in. Highly recommend!
