As someone who grew up with dogs I understand that dogs are part of the family, so I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy when they’re with me. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, an energetic adventure, or just some company during the day, I’m happy to tailor the walk to their personality and needs. I’m attentive, patient, and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Sam is a wonderful dog sitter. Jerry is always excited to spend the day with Sam and comes home tired because he has had so much fun. Sam is very conscious of a dog's needs and, on a particularly hot day, knew exactly how to monitor Jerry and adjust his outdoor time without being asked. We feel confident that Jerry is happy and safe with Sam and highly recommend him as a dog sitter.
Sam made extra sure to take care of Wilson in the heat! Kept him nice and cool, and gave him lots of attention instead as he couldn’t take him for his usual long walk. Highly recommend Sam if you’re looking for someone to properly look after your dog!
I absolutely love Sam looking after our dog Wilson. He always asks if there is anything specific he needs to know or do with Wilson (not the most easiest dog as he weighs 40kg!). He sends us photos and updates. He’s also such a lovely person and you can see how much pride he takes in looking after his clients pets. Would highly recommend.
Sam has been an absolute life saver! Available at short notice to cover cat sitting during an elderly relative’s stay in hospital. Sam was super flexible, able to extend when we needed it and so so helpful. I would highly recommend Sam. The contact was great and he was super responsive and easy to contact. He sent us updates every day which really help set my mother in law at ease. Thanks Sam - we will absolutely be happy to use you again. Highly recommended!

Schedule
I am lucky enough to not need a full time job so my free time is plenty! I am trying to fill that time with something I love which is looking after and spending time with animals! Pet care would be my top priority during my daily and weekly routine.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before the service begins so I can provide the best possible care. When walking or caring for a dog, I make sure they are always secure on their lead unless the owner has clearly said they are comfortable with off-lead exercise in safe areas. I pay close attention to the dog’s behaviour and surroundings to make sure they stay safe and comfortable at all times. If I’m caring for a pet in the owner’s home, I treat their home with respect and make sure the dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any instructions are followed carefully. I also make sure doors and gates are secure and that the environment is calm and safe for the pet. I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for while maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment.
