A loving home from home for paws to play & relax.
My wife (Emma) and I love animals. We both grew up in homes with rescue dogs and other pets. We now have our own dog, Joni, who we rescued. We have learnt so much on her recovery journey back into being a "normal" dog - she's a very loving, quirky, gentle soul! We both work freelance and can be flexible with working patterns, so there is usually one of us around at home to look after your dog.

My dogs had a wonderful stay. I got lots of photos and videos to let me know how they were getting on while I was away. Sam was easy to communicate with and very responsive and flexible to my needs.
Sam and Emma are kind and caring pet parents to Joni the dog. She is a friendly girl who loves her walks and is very welcoming for other doggie friends to join in on walks and playing in the garden (which is totally secure). Sam and Emma have always been very flexible for when we have needed them ourselves, and very accommodating. We highly recommend them for your dog care needs.

Schedule
I primarily work from home and my wife also sometimes works from home, so we can accommodate 2 walks a day, as well as play and cuddle breaks. We like to spend our evenings watching movies, cuddled up with Joni on the sofa. At the weekends and during time off work, we love going on long walks and generally being out in nature, come rain or shine. We are lucky to have lots of great walks near us and a couple of secure fields where we take Joni for a good run around.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are welcomed as a part of our family when they come to stay. We have an enclosed garden and a peaceful loving home. We have one greyhound cross, Joni, who is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play - she is always very excited to have new friends over to stay. Joni is fully vaccinated, including kennel cough. We only take pets from one owner at a time to ensure everyone gets along and so we can focus our love and attention on your dog(s) and ours.

A typical day
We go on 2 walks a day, one in the morning and one late afternoon/ early evening after work, as well as some play and cuddle breaks in between! We have plenty of toys to help keep dogs stimulated, as well as space indoors and outdoors for moments of calm and rest. The evenings are all about snuggling on the sofa - we call this the 'belly rub club'. Dogs can roam the house and garden freely during their stay. We send photo/ video/ gif updates once a day to owners via whatsapp during their pets stay.
