Hello! My name is Sam and I’ve been taking of cats since I was 8 years old, then I got a dog at 14 and started caring for him as well. I have had five total cats, and I own a Yorkshire terrier, whom I walk everyday. Family members and friends have relied on me to pet sit and all were very satisfied with the job I had done. Animals have always made life so much more enjoyable for me and I just want to return the favor by making them happy :)

Sam was wonderful to work with! Pepper is a little cautious around new people (she prefers to conduct interviews from under the bed 😄), and Sam was patient, kind, and respectful of her pace. Communication was excellent, and when Pepper unexpectedly got sick and we had to cancel the remaining walks, Sam was incredibly understanding and compassionate. We really appreciate her professionalism and look forward to working with her again when Pepper is back in Vista.
We haven’t really been given the opportunity to trust others to sit our kitties. Since I was a pet sitter, myself, my expectations for what I wanted in one for my kitties was set in stone. It was important for me to find someone who seemed very personable with kitties as Snow is extremely scared and very shy of newcomers and Amor is in her teenage stages and wrecks havoc. Upon Sam and I’s first meeting, she was very confident in what kitty experience and knowledge she carried through raising her own kitties as well as sitting for others’ pets as well. She followed instructions extremely well and made sure the kitties felt loved. Sam, herself, was very easy to work with and responded promptly always. We would definitely love to have her again!

Schedule
I only work a few days at my other job so my schedule is predominantly open. My days often include caring for and cleaning up after my three cats and a dog.
