I have always loved my pets and had dogs most of my life, but when my last soul dog passed, I realized I wanted to share my pet love in other ways. My weekly routine is flexible and I work from home 3 a 4 days a week. When I do go to the location I am usually finished by 2pm and available the rest of the day. It’s is easy enough to change my days of work so it allows me to sit with pets in a variety of ways that can be customized to the owners needs

I have worked with Candid PNW pets for 4 years. I have regular clients that my spouse and I work together with to offer flexibility and total care for varying needs of pet parents. I have been doing this for 4 years and can provide references as well. My full time job is working downtown Seattle and I am a part time teacher with SPS, fully background checked and insured. My goal is to take care of your pets in a supportive way and that meets all yours and their expectations.

There are dog sitters… and then there are dog sitters. This is my very public appreciation for Courtney Williams. Courtney has cared for our three dogs for about a year-two very needy 11 year old black labs and a 6 year old reactive pittie mix. From the very beginning, she brought a calm, steady presence that dogs instantly trust. All three of our dogs adored her immediately, especially our challenging pittie mix, which spoke volumes to us. Earlier this year while we were out of town, one of our labs, Chloe, began to decline just before receiving a devastating melanoma diagnosis. Courtney called us right away and offered to take Chloe to the emergency vet and going far beyond what anyone could expect- called her husband (with our permission) to sit with Chloe while she walked our other two dogs until we got home. Chloe passed two days later. Just three months after that heartbreak, our second lab, Bella, suddenly lost the ability to walk. Courtney and her husband sat with us as we said goodbye to our sweet girl. I am in complete awe of Courtney- her compassion, her presence and her willingness to go above and beyond for the dogs she cares for. If you are looking for a dog sitter who truly, deeply cares I cannot recommend Courtney highly enough.
Sal took absolutely wonderful care of my dog, Charlie. She has pretty severe separation anxiety, so leaving her is never easy, but Sal made the entire experience so comforting and stress-free. He communicated with me every single day, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and made sure all of her feeding schedules and routines were followed perfectly and on time. It was so clear how patient, caring, and attentive he was with her. Charlie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after her. I would highly recommend Sal to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable to care for their pets.
