I’ve been passionate about dogs and animals since childhood. My grandfather had a cute bichon, and I spent hours playing with him. Every summer, I also spent time at my parents' best friend's house in the south of France, where two dogs roamed freely, and I loved playing with them. Since my family got our first dog Romeo five years ago, when he was still a puppy, I quickly became completely at ease with all types of dogs. I love taking him jogging, playing at my parents' garden, or going on adventures to the forest and the beach — he especially loves digging in the sand! Last Christmas, my parents went on vacation, and I took care of Romeo with my boyfriend for two and a half weeks. While at university, I cared for a lovely dog named Teddy for six months, walking him weekly for 3 hours to the park and the sea, which I found through the Gudog platform. Additionally, my boyfriend’s family has two dogs on their farm, and we spend a lot of time with them, so I’m used to managing dogs in different environments and situations. I’ve developed a strong bond with dogs of all ages and breeds, and I’m especially comfortable with providing a mix of exercise, play, and attention. I also have experience in giving them a calm, structured routine, which is especially helpful for puppies and senior dogs. Whether it’s a beach adventure or a relaxing day at home, I am dedicated to giving dogs the care they deserve!

As I’m currently renting, I’m not able to welcome pets in my own flat, but I’m very happy to care for your dog in your home. I always treat my clients’ homes with the same respect as I treat my own, making sure everything stays clean, calm, and safe. When I’m caring for a dog, safety is my top priority. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, habits, and any special needs they may have. I make sure doors and gates stay securely closed, walks are done with proper leashes and harnesses, and I keep an eye on anything in the environment that could be unsafe. I also pay attention to the dog’s comfort — giving them the right balance of exercise, play, and rest depending on their personality. My goal is really to create a safe, stress-free environment where your dog feels comfortable and well cared for while you’re away!

I’m always hesitant when it comes to entrusting my dog to someone. Salomé immediately understood my concerns and put me at ease, asking lots of questions to get to know Lulu, my Basset Hound. I left her in Salomé’s care for three weeks. She asked about Lulu’s habits, daily routine, and the care she needs (Lulu isn’t as young as she used to be and has some joint issues). Throughout the stay, Salomé sent me photos and kept me updated on Lulu’s days, meals, and everything else. Salomé is a warm and attentive person who understands what it means to care for a dog. I can't recommend her enough, and I think she will have to put up with Lulu a few more times <3.
Salomé is very gentle and attentive with animals, at least she was with Blue, our 14-year-old cat! We gave her a few instructions about food and litter, which she followed without any problems, so we were able to enjoy a relaxing weekend away! I think she really has a gift with animals. When she came into our house, the cat came straight up to her, almost as if she wanted to talk to her. It was cute !
I'm happy to recommend Sasa as a pet caregiver. Over the past year, Sasa has looked after my dog on multiple occasions, and I've always felt completely at ease leaving my pet in their care. What stands out most about Sasa is their genuine affection for animals and their attentiveness to each pet's unique needs. They took time to learn my dog's routine, dietary requirements, and quirks, and always followed my instructions carefully. I'd return home to find my dog happy, well-exercised, and clearly comfortable with Sasa. Sasa is also reliable and communicative. They sent updates and photos during longer visits, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Their home is clean and safe, and they're thoughtful about things like securing yards and keeping harmful items out of reach. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Sasa. Your furry friend will be in excellent hands, and they may be able to speak French ;).

I just arrived on the island as my husband is working at UH. I’ve plenty of time to take care of your pups since I don’t have an activity here yet ! I am also available on the week-ends.
