A home from home for your dogs!
Fully registered for dog boarding with Dorset Council. Registration number 12995. I've had lots of experience of caring for dogs.Two of our dogs we had from puppies so have experience of training from an early age. We have also had a lovely spaniel from rescue so know how to manage anxious dogs. We had many years of fun together. As they got older our walks got slower but they still loved to get out for a sniff a couple of times a day. My husband Andy will be around sometimes to help out with care too. Sadly we had to say goodbye to Bob, our last spaniel a year ago. We both love dogs but we can't commit to a new furry friend just yet but we'd love to look after your dog when we do have time. A home with a garden is just what we wanted for our dogs when we went away without them and that's what we'd like to offer you here.

I'm so glad to have found Sally and I'm very happy to leave my Lola in her capable and caring hands. Lola gets regular long walks, snuggles on the sofa and lots of fun in the garden. Sally also sends daily pupdates and photos, which is very reassuring when one is a long way away. Absolutely five-star care!
Sally was fantastic . Great communication from booking right through to the visits. I felt 100% happy the my 4 dogs were in good hands and being well cared for.
Sally was just wonderful with our border terrier Roxy - Roxy was so happy during her stay, it was home from home for her, and she loved the walks on the beach. We would definitely use Sally again and recommend her.
This was our first time using Rover.com and finding Sally to look after our two elderly greyhounds was so fortunate. Our nervous boy instantly took a liking to Sally and veered up, leaning against her. That was all we needed to feel confident about leaving our two with her. We had lovely photos sent and a video of Ellie and Sam enjoying the garden, the sofa and a walk. We cannot thank and recommend Sally enough for her care and obvious doggy knowledge and expertise. -X-
Sally & Andy took excellent care of our dogs when we were out for the day. They went above and beyond making sure the dogs were well cared for in our absence. Communication throughout the day was excellent. We will be using them again and I highly recommend them.
Sally was a great host for Asta. She is diligent, kind and friendly. You can tell she is used to caring for dogs and understands their individual personalities. Asta was instantly at home and I felt very comfortable leaving her there. We had lots of updates and it made me happy to see Asta had some furry snuggle spots to sleep on, which would have made her feel very comfortable 😌. Thanks Sally!

Schedule
I am now semi-retired so won't be working on the days I'm offering to look after dogs. I will be able to devote all of my time to helping them enjoy their time in our home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be able to sit with us on the sofa. I'm happy to maintain any routines that you want so if you want them in a crate that's fine but it's also fine if not. We live in a bungalow so we're never far away. We have a large garden to play in when we're not out walking. When I've looked after dogs before I've enjoyed sending daily photos to keep in touch. Over the years I've had experience of administering lots of different medicines and have done my own grooming so can keep your dog tangle free.
A typical day
I will have plenty of time for playing games and walks in the countryside and by the sea. If they like to I'm happy to take them out and about to other local places too.
