Information Sally M. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for any pet, I like to know as much as possible so I can give them the safest, happiest experience. The more detail, the better! Here’s what really helps: • Temperament & behaviour Are they shy, confident, energetic, anxious, reactive, or cuddly? How do they behave around other dogs/people? • Any routines or house rules Feeding times, walking preferences, crate routine, sleeping arrangements, and any “no-go” areas. • Medical needs Allergies, medications, past injuries, sensitivities, or anything I should keep an eye on. • Triggers or fears Loud noises, certain dogs, sudden movements, being left alone, etc. • Training level Commands they know, what you’re working on, and anything I should maintain (lead walking, recall, boundaries). • Energy level & exercise needs Are they a long-walk lover, a relaxed potter-around-the-park dog, or somewhere in between? • Special preferences Favourite toys, treats, comfort items, or the type of walk they enjoy (e.g., long slow sniff-walks, which I love doing!).

A typical day

A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, stimulated, and feeling right at home. I start the day with a calm morning check-in, making sure they’re fed, settled, and ready for some fun. Whether I’m caring for a lively dog or a cuddly companion, I tailor the day to their personality and routine. For dogs, this usually includes: • Walks and outdoor adventures — anything from relaxed sniff-walks to more energetic playtime. • Interactive play — tug toys, fetch, training games, or puzzle toys to keep their mind active. • Cuddle and chill time — perfect for dogs who enjoy comfort and reassurance. • Routine consistency — feeding times, toilet breaks, and any owner-requested training or boundaries. For quieter pets (or older dogs): • Gentle strolls, slow enrichment activities, treat-finding games, and lots of affection. Throughout the day, I send regular updates, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how your pet is doing. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away — and that they return home happy and relaxed.

Pet care experience

I offer true home-from-home boarding, where every dog is treated like part of the family — not just a booking. Your dog gets constant company, a calm environment, and personalised care tailored to their age, personality, and routine. I’m experienced with both puppies and senior dogs, and I’m confident in managing a wide range of needs, including: 🐾 Puppy Care & Routine Building • Toilet training support • Feeding schedules • Socialisation and gentle boundaries • Lots of short play sessions to burn healthy energy • Patience and consistency to help them settle 🐾 Senior Dog Support • Slow, comfortable walks • Medication reminders • Extra comfort, supervision, and gentle handling • Keeping to strict feeding and sleep routines • Understanding their pace and mobility needs. I only take a small number of dogs at a time, so every dog receives one-to-one attention, cuddles, and full supervision. Your dog will enjoy a safe home environment, sofa snuggles, regular updates, and the same love and structure they get with you. My goal is simple: Happy dogs, relaxed owners, and a stress-free stay from start to finish.

Sally Morton was an absolutely fantastic dog sitter. She looked after my dog Bear and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sally was caring, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. The whole experience was completely stress-free, and I felt confident knowing Bear was in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.
