Availability

I work full time but a lot of it is from home, and my partner gets in usually around 3pm. He has grown up with lurchers and is an avid dog lover like me. There will be plenty of time for walks and would only accept bookings where the dog will be cared for the best we can with our schedule.

It is my partner and I in a flat with no pets. Whilst we don’t have a garden we have green spaces on our doorstep for regular ‘business’ trips. We live in close proximity to great parks such as Havannah, Woolsington, Weetslade, Big waters etc. Your dog would be part of the family, from coming on walks to chilling on the sofa (if allowed by you).

Information Sally G. would like to know about your pet

No preference on breed types, but it would be nice to meet up before to make sure we're a good fit and get to know us a bit/ let us know what you would like for your dog. Unfortunately we will refuse to board reactive dogs due to not having a garden and there being many dogs where we live.

A typical day

Weekdays: Would involve a morning walk in the park before I work from home. A lunch time walk for high energy dogs and then my partner would be home for an afternoon/evening walk. Weekends: Walks in the woods/park and lots of fun! We would send regular pics/updates of what we get up to.

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs, but since moving out of the family home and establishing life in Newcastle I miss having a furry companion! I am often trusted with looking after family / friends dogs and I live in a great area for walking them.

This is the second time Sally has looked after Shiloh for me and it's safe to say that judging by his reactions he thoroughly enjoys staying with Sally and her family and is quite at home there. As before communication was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend Sally and will use her sitting services again.

Thanks very much Sally for looking after Amigo for the weekend. From the photos he looked as if he had instantly made himself at home – no change there then – and when it was time to go home I wasn’t too sure he wanted to leave either. You may well be seeing Amigo again..!
