I grew up with what friends called a zoo! My mom would take in any animal that needed help. From wild ducks to a rat she made a pet when my snake would not eat it. I have taken care of ferrets, fish, dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses and so on. I have had all sizes and ages of dogs. From hip dysplasia to routine medicine dosage. I have always treated animals different than most. Love to talk to them and give them the attention they need so they don't feel forgotten about. We have a huge fenced backyard and a home that is very well lived in so pet messes are not an issue to take care of. I am also a preschool teacher so the energy goes hand in hand!
