Pet care experience

Where dogs feel at home

My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers who have both grown up surrounded by dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to us. Over the years, we’ve regularly looked after dogs for friends and family — often for extended stays — giving us hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and needs. We genuinely love having dogs around and treat every dog in our care as if they were our own. Your dog will enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. We’re especially passionate about the outdoors and love taking dogs on enriching walks and countryside adventures, giving them both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Whether your dog enjoys energetic exploring or gentle strolls followed by sofa cuddles, we tailor their stay to suit their personality and routine. Our goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind while ensuring your dog feels safe, happy, and loved during their stay with us.

They updated us the whole time our dog, Oscar, was with them with messages and pictures. Very trustworthy and just such lovely people. I will happily place Oscar with them again in the future. Thanks a ton.

Could not fault Sally and her partner at all. They looked after my Labrador for 5 nights and they kept me updated, send me pictures and were sure quick with responses. I can tell Hector had the best time and was looked after with so much care and also lots and lots of love! Will definitely be rebooking with Sally and could not recommend her enough!

Dexter can be quite anxious but Sally was very understanding and cared for him like he was her own. We were so reassured by Sally and it was lovely to get regular pictures and updates throughout the day. Great experience and we will definitely rebook in the future.

Basil seems to have a great time at Sally's. He's already been back and happily walked on into her house. He seems a very happy puppy there ☺️. Thanks

Schedule

As we both work from home, dogs in our care are rarely left alone and naturally become part of our daily routine. We already have our own friendly beagle who fits seamlessly into our schedule, including morning and evening walks around the fields right on our doorstep, so guest dogs enjoy the same consistent exercise and enrichment. Our days are structured around the dogs — with regular toilet breaks, playtime, companionship, and relaxed downtime between activities. We love being outdoors and make the most of the surrounding countryside for stimulating walks, sniffing opportunities, and exploration, which helps keep dogs both physically active and mentally content. In the evenings, dogs can settle in with us for calm time and plenty of affection, just as they would at home. Having dogs around is something we genuinely enjoy, not something we fit in — so they receive lots of attention, interaction, and supervision throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

We provide a calm, safe, home-from-home boarding environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We keep routines as close as possible to what they are used to at home — including feeding schedules, walk preferences, sleeping arrangements, and any specific care needs — because we know how important familiarity is for a dog’s comfort. We only board a small number of dogs at a time so that every dog receives plenty of individual attention, affection, and supervision. Our home is secure, comfortable, and dog-friendly, with space to relax as well as opportunities for play and enrichment. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, so we prioritise communication and will happily provide updates and photos during their stay for peace of mind. Our aim is always to ensure dogs feel happy, relaxed, and loved while owners feel confident they are in safe, caring hands.
