Hi there, I'm Sallie S. I've been a dog owner and a pup lover my whole life! Canine enthusiast and the original Dog Whisper! (Check out my reviews ) Your pup and I will have so much fun romping around and going for walks along quiet neighborhood streets, romping around grassy fields, forests, beaches, snuggling on the couch and enjoying each others company. I am home pretty much 24/7, and we have a totally fenced in back yard, where your dog will love to sun bath and play in. I'm really quite adamant about following YOUR rules: You don't allow Spot on the furniture neither will I... but if you do... I love to cuddle :) I'm excited about practicing tricks and rewarding pups for good behavior. I have behavioral and training experience. Have a fun relaxing trip, knowing that your best bud is well cared for. Let me pamper your pup with love and attention while you're away. I really enjoy what I do and it shows. I look forward to spending time with your special friend soon :) Note: Please only dogs that are house broken and have all their vaccinations. Pick up's after noon will be charged day rate. I generally don't take more than 3 dogs at a time and if your dog has SPECIAL NEEDS, such as a (VIP) VERY IMPORTANT PUP, (Single dog stays are available), medication, shyness, separation anxiety etc. No problem, I've got you covered with years of experience. Just please tell me everything I need to know, so that I can care for you pup to the very best of my ability. About this sitter: I'm an artist with a masters degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BFA from The San Francisco Art Institute. I have also been running my little dog sitting business now for 4 years! And before that, I was a dog walker for many years. I'm home most of the time enjoying caring for dogs and pursuing the Arts. So, I have a lot of time and love to give to many a fine canine, am extremely active and caring to boot! I make sure personally that Rover gets the royal treatment he/she deserves... Lots of love. So whether you dog is a real couch potato, or loves to run, I'd be pleased to have your pup not only a client but as a friend :)

Sallie took care of our 2 pitties during our wedding weekend, & she even picked them up from our wedding venue! When we picked them up the next day they looked both happy & tired, all great signs of a great time :) We would definitely book with Sallie again when in the East Bay!

We appreciated Sallie taking care of our dog Lulu. She was very nice and responsive to communication. Sallie was clearly competent and knew a lot about taking care of dogs. Lulu had an injured paw pad and Sallie knew what to do. One thing that could have helped me as a dog mom is to see beyond their entry area and perhaps get photos of Lulu on walks.
Sallie is awesome! Sent photos every day, super kind, and obviously cared a lot about making sure Max was well taken care of. I'd highly recommend her and had a great experience!
We are so thankful for Sallie! We travel pretty regularly and our big guy often has to miss out on the fun due to size and travel limitations. We were first time users of Rover and Sallie’s services as he’s usually boarded in Petaluma. Due to last minute booking we were in a bind. Sallie responded quickly, came to the house to pick Porter up (on our scheduled travel day which was a huge help to us), won him over quickly, assured me and made us feel comfortable with the arrangement ... he was smiling as I waved goodbye! While away we received pictures of our guy, which my children loved, and Sallie checked in with frequent updates. Upon his return he was definitely a bit homesick for her ;) We intend to work with Sallie again as she’s now our preferred nanny for Porter vs boarding while away. He’s huge but a lover who thinks he’s a pup. He has an injured back leg and Sallie was attentative and inquired/worked lovingly with his schedule and limitations. She’s such a gem!!
Sallie was really nice and sent us pictures each day. She said our dog was really sweet and well-behaved, which was good! I would definitely use her again.
