Safety, trust & environment

Within the client's home, I do everything I can to make their pets feel safe, seen, and loved. I know how important it is to maintain their routine and environment, especially for pets who thrive on familiarity. I take time to build trust, go at their pace, and make sure they feel comfortable with me in their space. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, extended visit, or overnight stay, I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s boundaries. I always follow instructions carefully, provide updates along the way, and make sure your pet is happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. For the health and safety of your pet, I kindly ask that clients provide their own grooming tools — including brushes, combs, nail clippers, styptic powder, and any other essentials your pet is familiar with. Using your pet’s personal tools helps prevent the spread of bacteria, and ensures a safe, and hygienic experience. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are always my top priorities.

Information Salina L. would like to know about your pet

Before any booking, I love getting to know your pet’s unique personality and needs. Please share anything important — like medical conditions, medications, special routines, triggers, or behaviors I should be mindful of. This helps me tailor my care to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable. For grooming services (like nail trims, brushing, or ear cleaning), I always work gently and at your pet’s pace. I will only proceed if your pet allows it with minimal stress. If your pet becomes overly anxious, requires heavy restraint, or shows signs of distress, I won’t continue — their well-being always comes first.

A typical day

A day with me is all about joy, connection, and comfort — tailored to your pup’s pace and personality. We’ll start with a nice long walk, where your dog gets plenty of time to sniff, explore, and stretch their legs. I believe in letting dogs take in the world at their own pace. We’ll enjoy some quiet time too — sitting together to soak up the sights and sounds of the neighborhood for mental enrichment and light socialization. At home, I’ll engage your pup with safe, supervised play in your yard or living room — whether it’s fetch, puzzle toys, or a gentle cuddle session. Each visit is designed to meet your dog’s physical and emotional needs, leaving them content, relaxed, and cared for.

Salina has taken such great care of our babies. Our doggy was sick this past week and Salina found food our dog would eat after our dog rejected everything we had at home. Salina also took our dog to a vet appointment and did an excellent job of communicating between the vets and myself/my partner. It is a huge relief to have a committed, trusted caretaker for our dogs.

Salina is the best! Our fur babies adore her and they are usually very distrustful toward strangers. She is punctual, reliable, and so sweet toward our pets. Highly recommend!

Salina was very punctual and communicative. She stayed at our house and took care of our senior dog and outdoor cats for 2 days and we felt totally comfortable with her making sure everyone was well taken care of!
