What makes me different is that caring for animals has been a big part of my life for years. I’m currently in college studying animal care, and I also worked at a zoo for 3 years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for and working around animals. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including puppies, senior pets, disabled pets, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I’m patient, responsible, and I really take the time to get to know each animal and their individual needs. Since I commute to college and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also a dog mommy myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. 🐾

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I follow their feeding schedule, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and safe space. My home is also a great setup for pets. I have a fenced-in backyard, and I live close to a dog-friendly park and a dog park that’s only about 5 minutes up the road. I’m also near emergency animal hospitals, Petco, and Legacy Place, so there are plenty of pet-friendly places and resources nearby if needed. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to adjust to their personality and routine. Whether they’re energetic and love going outside, prefer relaxing at home, or need extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.

Schedule
I’m a full-time college student studying animal care, and since I commute to school and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot of the time. My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to take care of pets throughout the day, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. Since I’m studying animal care, I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals and getting to know their different personalities and needs. I’m able to work pet care into my weekly routine without it feeling like a chore, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal schedule and routine while their owners are away.
