Experienced Dog Lover | Foster & Special-Needs Savvy Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father trained and raised dogs throughout my childhood, so I grew up learning how to understand different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I’ve also fostered 55 puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from shy and nervous dogs to high-energy pups who need structure, patience, and extra attention. I’m comfortable with reactive dogs and am not intimidated by dogs who may need more time, space, reassurance, or a specific routine. I understand that behavior is communication, and I take the time to learn what each dog is trying to tell me. Before working with dogs, I worked with children with special needs, which taught me an incredible amount about patience, consistency, and reading non-verbal cues. Those skills translate naturally into the way I care for animals. I’m happy to follow the routines and training you already have in place, including feeding instructions, walks, boundaries, medications, enrichment, and any behavioral cues I should know about. I want your dog to feel safe and understood rather than simply "watched." And you won't have to wonder how they're doing! I’m happy to send plenty of photos, videos, and updates throughout our time together. Every dog has their own personality, quirks, and way of communicating. I genuinely enjoy figuring out what makes each one special and giving them the individual attention they deserve.
