My name is Saige; I also go by Ziggy. I am a part-time environmental sciences student living with my partner, two canine children, and four feline children in the Easthampton area. I have over 11 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and rodents. In the 11 years I’ve been caring for animals I have raised and trained two dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I have worked with various animal rescue groups as a foster aiding in the rehabilitation of traumatized dogs. In addition to knowledge of dog body language and psychology, I also have experience in medication administration, cleaning and dressing different wounds and post-surgery stitches. While your dog is with me, we will go for walks, hikes, the dog park (with parental approval),play in the backyard, practice some tricks, get massages, a bath, and lots of cuddles and kisses! Ziggy cared for my young, rambunctious puppy for several weeks while I worked. She is very experienced and grounded, followed my instructions respectfully and conscientiously, and had excellent communication (with photos). She takes her job seriously and is very professional. It’s also clear she loves animals, and my puppy senses that and totally loves her. Given that she is a breed that tends to be reserved, that says a lot! I am going through a stressful period; knowing that I could rest assured that my puppy was well cared for and safe was the absolute best part of every day. Because of Ziggy, I felt the universe was smiling on me. She is a gift. I recommend her very highly highly and would not hesitate to book again.
Saige was absolutely amazing! They took such wonderful care of our animals, they were communicative and attentive and thoughtful. We are already looking forward to rebooking with them!
Ziggy was very nice and knowledgeable. They took care of my two crazy German Shepherds, a nearly 100lbs male and a 65lbs female puppy that acts like she's part Malinois, without any issues. My dogs were very happy and well taken care of!
Ziggy was wonderful. They house sat & took such good care of our anxious terrier, Cleo. Ziggy handled all of Cleo quirks with patience & professionalism. We would absolutely work with Ziggy again & highly recommend them.
Saige took good care of my dog and let me know about a health care concern. I was very happy about their communication and good judgment.
Ziggy was great with our dog Jet! Jet is a high energy Springer Spaniel and she went above and beyond with taking him for hikes and making sure he got enough exercise. She took care of Jet at our home and was respectful of the space and was able to keep Jet’s routine as normal as possible which made us comfortable leaving him with her. We would definitely book with Ziggy again in the future!

Schedule
I am currently a part-time student taking classes remotely. This allows me the time and flexibility to take on multiple customers while catering to the individual needs of each dog.

Safety, trust & environment
While our foster Mylo loves everyone, we do own a female Staffy/Lab mix who is dog-selective. However, we are able to effectively rotate dogs who do not get along.

A typical day
Your dog will have full day of physical and mental exercise. With hiking, visits to the dog park, training sessions, frozen kongs, and treat puzzles your dog will be tuckered out by the end of the day and ready for dreamland!
