Hi my name is Saige, and I’m a college student and have been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a senior dog with diabetes who I help care for, including giving his insulin, keeping up with his feeding schedule, and making sure he gets the extra attention he needs as he gets older. I also have two cats and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, and other pets. I’m also an equestrian and have been riding and caring for horses for years, so I’m very comfortable handling animals and understanding their individual needs. Whether your pet is young and energetic, older and needs a little extra care, or just wants lots of attention and cuddles, I’m happy to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away!

I know every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always try to keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow the routine and instructions you leave for me, whether that includes feeding, walks, medications, playtime, litter boxes, or just spending some time with them and keeping them company. I’m comfortable with pets that need lots of attention and activity as well as those that would rather relax or have their own space. I’ll also send pictures and updates so you can check in and know your pet is doing well!

Schedule
As a college student, my schedule gives me a good amount of flexibility throughout the week and on weekends. I’m used to balancing school with caring for my own pets, so pet care is already a normal part of my everyday routine. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and other pet care throughout the week, and I’m happy to work with each owner to find times that fit their pet’s normal schedule and routine.

- Before watching your pet, I’d love to know a little about their personality and normal routine, along with anything that will help me make them feel comfortable. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, feeding instructions, behaviors I should be aware of, or things they really love or don’t like. For dogs, I’d also like to know how they are on walks and around other dogs or people. The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can care for them while you’re away!
