About Saifullah K.
Safety, trust & environment
In terms of ensuring the safety of my two cats who are both 1 year and 2 months old, I make sure to never open windows on the second floor further than a few cm to make sure they never have any accidents by falling through said windows. I make sure medication are put away and I ensure the house is cat proof in terms of not having candles, flowers, air fresheners or any other potentially dangerous/toxic items they might consume. In the mornings I brush their teeth and wipe their faces to keep them clean and comfortable as well as at lower risk of gingivitis. I feed them three times a day and have multiple water sources such as bowls and cat fountains where I make sure they have fresh mineral water. I also offer them cat safe milk which, when hot, I offer cold to help them beat the heat when they're not busy sleeping it off. I try to comb the hair and clean their ears daily as I take pride in making sure they feel and look great. I clean their litterboxes daily (I use unscented clumping litter form the brand Everclean and I have three litter boxes following the rule of 2 for 1 cat, 3 for 2, 4 for 3 etc. etc.) I feed my cats high meat content food such as Untamed and also have experience with feeding them nutritionally complete raw food from the brand Nutriment. I make sure to feed my cats a range of food, including dry, wet, and raw whilst ensuring that what I am feeding them is always nutritionally complete and designed for cats. In terms of the environment, I've purchased cat trees, beds and a variety of toys for them to play with, however, I emphasise play with wands in order to mimic prey and I try to implement the "Hunt, Catch, Kill, Eat" idea by playing with them and feeding them their food or with treats after playing. I also let them explore the garden and have experience using cat harnesses, however I now let them explore themselves without the harness as they are vaccinated, neutered/spayed, microchipped and I take them for their flea medication at the vets every 3 month, as such I feel comfortable letting them play in the garden. In general, with the help of my family, we have made a happy and comfortable home for our cats where they feel safe, loved and looked after. A place that they know they can call home.

Cat care experience
I've been around cats for as long as I can remember and have experience taking care of three cats of my neighbours since I was 16, I'm now 20 and have two fur babies who I have the privilege of taking care of myself and calling my own (one boy who's a menace and one girl who's the sweetest muffin ever). I take pride in making sure my cats are well looked after by: Brushing their teeth, cleaning their litter boxes daily, staying on top of their health via taking them to the vets, administering oral and topical medications (such as flea/tapeworm medication), keeping their pretty faces clean using pet safe wipes, grooming them by brushing often, applying moisturising ointment to their toe beans and paw pads to make sure they are healthy and doing my best to feed them the best food available with the highest meat content whilst also giving them supplements like salmon oil and PlaqueOff powder to help keep their coats shiny and their gums healthy. I am going into my third year of my Masters in Pharmacy at King's but taking care of cat's is my passion and my dream is to be able to establish a cat shelter in the future as I believe all cats deserve a home. My background in healthcare (and my love for my little babies) is what makes me want to do my best to make them happy and healthy). The effort I put in for my cats is no different to the effort I'll put in for your's as I truly believe all animals are deserving of love and care, even if they don't seem to want it sometimes as my boy cat Nimki never fails to remind me. I'm a quick learner and am enthusiastic about doing my utmost for cats, I've spent a lot of time learning about cat behaviour and health and will take care of your cat with the same love and care that I have for mine.
