I love to know as much as possible about your cats’ personalities, special needs, and medical history! It is incredibly helpful to know where everything is located, including food, bowls, litter boxes, cleaning supplies, toys, and any medications. I also want to know all their little quirks: what they love, what they are scared of, and their favorite hiding spots. Having all this detailed information allows me to perfectly mimic their normal routine, which minimizes their stress and keeps them completely comfortable while you are traveling.
A typical day
A typical visit depends entirely on your cat’s personality! For active kitties, I love using wand toys or their favorite games to keep them engaged, running, and mentally stimulated. I always rotate toys when possible to keep things fresh and fun. For more timid cats, I let them set the pace. I never force interactions and will gladly just sit quietly with them to build trust over time. I always follow their body language and cues to ensure they feel safe, loved, and happy. My goal is to provide a calm and enriching environment that respects exactly what your cat needs that day.
