Hi! I’m Sahana, an experienced dog lover and proud Cavapoo mom to Bubbles, who has been my constant companion since she was just 10 weeks old. Caring for Bubbles and other dogs has taught me that every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and routine. For over 15 years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their dogs while they’re away. I’ve regularly cared for dogs of all sizes, from energetic puppies to seniors, including those with behavioral or medical needs. Many of these families have relied on me repeatedly because they know their dogs will receive the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. While I’m not a professional trainer, I have a passion for working with dogs and helping them learn. I’ve taught basic obedience, loose-leash walking, sit, stay, down, fun tricks, and communication using buttons. I’m currently training my own dog, Bubbles, in agility simply because we both enjoy learning together. I’ve also helped reinforce potty training with young puppies, including Darcy, and have worked patiently with shy and anxious dogs. Scarlett needed to be hand-fed until she became comfortable, while Leo and Presley were extremely fearful and required a calm, consistent approach to build their confidence. Your dog’s safety and well-being are always my highest priorities. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine and personality. I work from home full-time, so your dog will rarely be left alone. I only host one family’s dog(s) at a time, creating a calm, low-stress environment where they receive individualized attention. My home has a fully fenced yard, and we enjoy two to three walks each day around the neighborhood or nearby park, with plenty of opportunities for play, enrichment, and affection. Friends trust me because I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely invested in making every dog feel safe and happy. As a dog owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously.
