As a former veterinary technician, I have worked professionally with animals in both routine and emergency situations, with additional experience as a wildlife sanctuary volunteer and as an owner of many species over the years. [Services for exotic/farm animals offered privately.] At home, my husband and I have 2 dogs and 80 acres of land to explore. I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies!

Sage took great care of my dog. She was very easy to communicate with and made it clear that his comfort and safety was her top priority. She sent regular updates through the stay and was flexible with pickup and drop off. Will definitely book again!

I was nervous to leave my cats with someone for the first time , but Sage did an amazing job! My kitties absolutely love her!
First time for Norah away from home and Sage handled her well. Definitely will use her again. I feel comfortable leaving her with Sage.it was nice to get updates on her stay and helped us worry less about our pup. I’ sure she will grow more comfortable with her next few visits. At my house, boarding dogs are never left outside unsupervised. Boarders (and their belongings) are also never left alone with my own dogs. All pets are only fed their own food/treats and are never given human food. Boarders sleep on their own beds in a guest room unless a crate is provided. I encourage bringing beds, toys and other comfort items to make boarders feel more at home.

"During drop-in visits, I like to give dogs as much outdoor exercise as possible. Indoors, I love giving plenty of attention and cuddles - even to cats if they allow it! Accidents happen, so I have no problem cleaning up after pets and always appreciate cleaning supplies left somewhere easy to find. At my house, boarding dogs may get to play in a large fenced-in yard or go for walks down long forest trails. During the summer they may even get to play in a kitty pool or sprinkler! Inside, I have plenty of toys and two friendly dogs who can be playmates or be kept entirely separate if necessary."
